Our wedding was at Ashdown Park Hotel in December and Darren was our Photographer. We first met Darren at a Wedding showcase at Ashdown. We were immediately drawn to his amazing story books and friendly manner and decided straight away that we would like him to be our Photographer.
Darren came to our home and went through the different albums and packages. We felt completely at ease with him and when he left my Husband and I both said we were so glad we had chosen him and couldn't wait for the photos to be taken.
On the lead up to the big day, Darren would always reply to my emails straight away and we also had a courtesy call the week of the wedding to go through everything which we felt was very professional.
On the wedding day Darren and his wife were amazing! We really enjoyed having our photos taken and Darren always made us feel so at ease. His wife also helped with my dress and held my bouquet at times when it was just my Husband and I having our photos taken. We felt there was a good mixture of allowing us time to be with our guests and having our photos taken.
We were very lucky that Darren worked extra hard to get all our proof photos ready before Christmas, so it was a great surprise to come back from our honeymoon to see our photos. The photos are beautiful and captured the day perfectly. It was so hard to choose for our album, as they were all fantastic! We have finally selected our favourites and are now looking forward to seeing our Story Book. We would highly recommend Darren.

Darren and his partner were an absolute joy to work with in the run-up to our wedding and on the day itself and we have no hesitation but to recommend him.
We were actually put in touch with Darren by our parents, who went to a wedding fayre at Ashdown Park after my now wife and I became engaged. They were very impressed with his attitude, personality and, of course, his photography, and said we should meet up with him.
When we did we knew immediately he was the right person for us. For a start, he knew Ashdown Park inside out and, because we were having a November wedding, that meant we could still be sure our photos would be fantastic even if we were unable to use the beautiful grounds. As it was, the weather was perfect and the photos - and particularly the light - in the pictures was amazing.
Prior to that, one of the main reasons we wanted to use Darren was because he made it clear from the outset that he was more than happy to give us advice and the benefit of his experience but that, ultimately, he would do what we wanted - and he did. We got every single photo of friends and family we wanted and they were all of great quality.
Darren’s post-wedding service was also really helpful. We weren’t the quickest to get back to him with our selection of photographs, but he never pressured us and was more than happy to make all the changes we wanted to our storybook (which, if you are undecided, is well worth doing. We are much happier with it than I think we would have been with a traditional wedding album).
Frankly, judging from the experience of some of our friends, many of them got a friend to take photos with the best of intentions to do their own wedding album – and many of them haven’t. If you want memories that will last forever, I would say that a wedding photographer is a must and , for us, Darren is the best we could have hoped for.

We got married in April at Ashdown Park Hotel in East Sussex and the photographs were taken by Darren Charles Holloway.
We first met Darren at a Wedding Exhibition at Ashdown Park Hotel and we were very impressed with his work when we saw it and liked him straight away.
Darren came to see us about 6 months before the wedding to discuss the details of what photographs we wanted for our wedding day and also a list of all the people to be included. He made us feel very confident that he would be totally reliable and also that he would be the one taking the photographs on the day and not anybody working for him.
He service was totally personal and on our wedding day his wife came along with him to adjust my dress for all the photographs so it looked amazing for all the photographs.
After the wedding we were give a CD as well as the proofs so we could view all of the photographs on line and it was a great way to show our friends and family and to help them choose which ones they wanted.
The Story book we ordered of our wedding photographs looks amazing we were so thrilled when we opened it up. The photographs look stunning.
We looked at several photographers before the wedding but we are so pleased that we chose Darren.
We would totally recommend Darren anyone to take their photographs. He is a super guy and totally reliable and a true professional.

We were married on 16th April at Hellingly Church and reception at Deans Place. We had an amazing day.
Darren is friendly, well mannered, reliable, proffessional, well orgainsed and offers a 1st class service
We met Darren twice before our wedding to check details and our requirements and were very impressed from the start. On the day everything went like clockwork, handled proffessoinally by Darren and his wife Kate. They did not dictate or instrusive.
The quality of photographs are outstanding and themed in an interesting way.Its going to be very difficult choosing for our storybook.Very good feedback from many of our guests.
We would recommend Darren Holloway to anybody for all occasions.Thank you Darren. Gill and Steve Monico

Darren was superb in his photography at our wedding in August in Ashdown Park. In the lead up to the wedding and most importantly afterwards he was always on hand to answer any questions we had and always obliged us by meeting up when it was felt necessary. He is very down to earth and easy to get on with and open to suggestions too. He was very professional on the day yet humerous which you need, making us all relaxed and ably assisted by his wife Kate, thanks Kate! He knew every inch of Ashdown Park and did the church and hotel photos beforehand. It was tough to choose the photos for our album as they were so good but Darren was always happy to work with us if we had any changes to make, the end result we have an absolutely fantastic 'storybook' album that he and us can be very proud of. Well done Darren, we can truly recommend you to others and let's hope you can make the memory of their special day just as wonderful. THANK YOU, Love Suzy and Nick Gatfield X

I knew darren through him doing the wedding pictures for my sister, and seeing what great photo's he done for her it was a no brainer to have darren do my wedding pictures,so i called darren and within day's he was round our house and went through the packages available for us,we were very impressed with him and what he told us,we decided there and then he would be our wedding photographer and to get the ball in motion which included him visiting the church we would get married in which was st john's in crawley and then onto our reception which was the Auara hotel in crawley so he could check out what and where the pictures could be taken, the run up to the wedding went great and darren was a massive help and kept me informed, the wedding day itself in september was a little rainy but thankfuly we managed to dodge the showers, darren arrived at church at around 11am to photograph me the groom with my bestman and ushers after that darren went to the house were my soon to be wife was getting ready with the bridesmaides, onto the wedding itself and darren was excellent in keeping everyone together for the photo's etc etc,he must of took hundreds of pictures because my face was aching from all the smiling, lol, once we got are wedding proofs through it was a mission to get the pictures down to 30 from so many excellent photo's but we did manage it,one last thing if you are looking for a photographer that not only takes photo's but really does get involved then Darren Charles Holloway is the person you will need,Many thanks once again darren for superb service and excellent pictures,Thank you Adam townsend...

We first came across Darren shortly after we got engaged, just having a look around on the internet to getting an idea about photographers, costs, photo's we liked, etc. We must have looked at 50 or so websites, each photographer lacking "the whole package", until we came across Darren's site. We loved his photo's, value for money, but the deciding factor was the reviews. We wanted someone who was friendly and truly cared about capturing our day the best he could. We wrote down his name and number and put it on the "to do" list! From the word go, the service we recieved was fantastic, so personal and helpful. We met up to go over the packages that were offered and we were blown away by Darren's work. We decided on the 'Story Book', and booked him for our Wedding. Over the coming year we had regular contact with Darren, which was always reasurring. Our Wedding Day arrived, the height of summer and it rained, despite this Darren managed to get some amazing photo's, risking damaging his camera in the rain just so we weren't disappointed!! Darren managed to capture our day perfectly, happy, relaxed, fun and full of love. The fantastic service received prior to the Wedding and on the day continues long after. We now have an amazing photo album, we are so very proud of. If you choose Darren Charles Holloway as your Wedding Photographer, you will not be disappointed.

We first met Darren at a wedding Fayre at Ashdown Park Hotel which is where we held our wedding and after flicking through his example albums and chatting to him we knew he was the guy for us. Darren is so easy to work with and communicate with and seemed to know exactly what we were after. He also had experience of doing weddings at Ashdown previously so knew all the right spots for fantastic photographs. On the day he was absolutely brilliant and made me feel at ease and also we found ourselves really enjoying being photographed. It was relaxed, easy, fun and fuss free along with having every confidence in Darren's ability to take amazing photographs. We would recommend Darren to anyone and the end results are fantastic. A great guy who provided us with wonderful memories all captured in amazing photos. He was a great choice!

We did not have a clue where to start looking when it came to choosing a photographer for our special day. We attended a Wedding Fair at The Ashdown Park Hotel and luckily for us that's where we met Darren. I would advise everyone now not to look anywhere else but to book Darren for your wedding. From our first meeting Darren was friendly, attentive and was genuinely interested in what we wanted. He was not pushy at all and showed us lots of examples of his work. We were both immediately drawn to his story book albums which are amazing. We had no hesitation in booking Darren for our big day which took place at The Ashdown Park Hotel. During the lead up to the wedding, Darren was always available to answer any questions and check that everything we wanted was in place. On the wedding morning I was disappointed to look out the window and see very heavy clouds and a gloomy looking day. Darren had assured us he knew the venue extremely well and not to worry if the weather wasn't very good. He certainly lived up to his promise. On the day Darren and Kate were fantastic. Through the chaos of getting ready and hunting around for everyone for the group shots, they remained friendly and calm although very much in control without being intrusive. Many of the guests commented on how nice is was not to have a "bossy photographer!!" After the wedding Darren was always updating us about the progress of our album and generally keeping in touch to see how our honeymoon etc was. Darren sent us a draft copy of the album and said we could change any part of it if we wanted to. There was nothing to change as it was perfect. Darren is very gifted in his ability to design the album and it captures every special moment of our fantastic day. Then the day arrived when Darren turned up on the doorstep carrying our story book album. What can I say.......the album is simply stunning. We absolutely love it and everyone we have shown it to is amazed. Some of my unmarried friends have vowed to use Darren when they marry. We would recommend Darren and Kate to everyone out there and can guarantee they will not be disappointed with any aspect of his service and the quality of the albums speaks for itself. Darren and Kate thank you for being part of our special day and allowing us to remember it through your album

Richard & Tina’s Review: We first met Darren at a Bridal Fair at Ashdown Park Hotel. He was attentive, and showed a real interest in the plans we had for our day, and was wise enough to say the right things at the right time. This was not just a sales pitch, as we received this level of interest and commitment every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always there at the end of a phone, as well as being with us at our practice session at the Church. The quality of his photographic work speaks for itself, so we will not say too much about that, other than it is fantastic. He gave us both an amazing record of our special day, during which he and his wife took control, but without being brash, bossy or intrusive. It was just what we needed – total reassurance every step of the way, without any pressure or worry about time. Darren's experience and time management to get the right shots in the right locations at the right time was invaluable to us, and our guests, as everything ran like clockwork.
The after sales service that Darren provides is exactly the same, in that he is totally committed to ensuring that his clients are completely happy with the results, and is happy to work closely with them to achieve this end. Nothing is too much trouble, and he is always contactable, with a smile and a kind word. In a nutshell, I would definitely recommend Darren, and should either of us have any cause to get married again in the future, we would have no hesitation in calling on him!!

We chose Darren for our wedding photos after sifting through the various websites for local photographers and being impressed by the portfolio on his. The fact that our wedding was at Ashdown Park Hotel, and that the hotel highly recommended him also helped us to make our minds up.
We first met Darren at the hotel itself, and he took us through some albums of other weddings he'd covered there, which gave us a good idea of how the whole day's photography would pan out, and again, showed that his knowledge of the venue and its various "photogenic" locations would be invaluable.
On the day, he and Kate were very accommodating to the usual wedding-day glitches, ranging from delayed groomsmen due to traffic, through to assisting ushers with their cravates and buttonholes (thanks Kate!), through to managing to get pictures of the bridal party in the midst of their getting ready without intruding.
They were also able to negotiate the myriad of combinations of after-ceremony shots that we were looking for in terms of family and friends without any delay - a logistical feat in itself.
Having just taken delivery of our album, we're both really pleased with the results, and would recommend Darren to anyone looking for a set of high quality photographs of their big day, taken with care and attention to detail, but in a relaxed way that sits well with both the bride and groom.

If you are looking for a wedding photographer you need look no further! My husband & I had a few quotes for photography and looked at some examples of work but I particularly liked the storybook style of album and also liked the style of the photos that Darren had on his website. We arranged to meet him about 18 months before our wedding and from the first meeting I knew straight away that I wanted Darren to cover our wedding. He is really friendly and a down to earth genuine guy who obviously really enjoys his work and dealing with many different people. We got married on 7th March 09 at cuckfield church, our reception was at Ashdown Park Hotel which Darren is very familiar with. During the lead up to the wedding we kept in contact and met up to discuss any important pictures we wanted of our day. Whilst Darren has his own ideas and artistic style he was extremely flexible with our requests. On the big day Darren did some photos at the church with the boys before coming to my house. With all the people milling about and slightly high stress levels I found Darren to actually be a calming person to have around and by now he actually felt like a friend! Our wedding day was quite cold and windy, Darren & Kate organised all of our guests quickly for our requested family shots so they could all hurry inside....I was amazed at how organised they were! Then came one of my favourite parts of the day.....pictures of me & my new husband in the grounds of Ashdown Park down by the lak, the pictures Darren captured are stunning and we all had a good giggle whilst trying to keep my veil from blowing everywhere! I cannot praise Darren & Kate enough, the wedding album that Darren has made for us is the most stunning album (I'm not just saying that because it's mine!!) but it's not just the photo's or the album that made choosing Darren the right decision, it was also his warm, fun & friendly personality that made it perfect. Our guests have also commented on how nice it was to have such a friendly photographer and everyone loves the album. With all the people you have to rely on to help make you have the day of your dreams tick one thing off your lists and book Darren, you'll be delighted with the results!

Darren Holloway is an excellent photographer. I got married in Oct 08 at the Ashdown Park Hotel and Darren and his assistant kept me calm, made me laugh and were thoroughly professional throughout the whole day. Each pose was discussed prior to the wedding so Darren knew exactly what I wanted from my wedding photographs. The fun and romantic atmosphere of the day was captured in natural and elegant poses-frozen in time to last me forever. Darren is affordable, flexible and always returns your messages in record time! Darren is a must have if you want a stress free and beautiful day and I can not recommend him enough. The aftercare service is also excellent, he has dedicated just as much time to me as he did prior to our October 08 wedding, if I ever have the need to hire another photographer (christening, another wedding! etc….) then I will not hesitate to contact him.

Wedding 19th August
What a day, the weather was not so kind to us but you would not know as the photography was first class. From our initial meeting at Darren's, his unhurried style explaining different styles, the day and the different albums and costs relating thereto.
On the day Darren visited our home and captured the family getting ready, the transport to the wedding, the ceremony and lastly up to the wedding breakfast.
Personally, I most unfortunately had food poisoning 3 days before the wedding and did not feel myself; Darren's photography did a great job to improve my appearances. The bride looked great, it was truly the best day of my life and we constantly look at our photo album to remind ourselves of that moment and see something different each time.
Thank you Darren, if you have any hesitation, do seriously contact me.

We first met Darren at a wedding fayre at Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club in October 2007 and decided then and there that he was our photographer of choice. His portfolio of work spoke for itself, the albums we viewed were truly stunning and the photography so natural and imaginative. The level of service we received from Darren before the wedding was excellent, we must have bombarded him with hundreds of questions about our day but Darren was always happy to help and offer advice. We married on 25th October 2008 at Ashdown Park and were of course both very anxious about the day but Darren and his wife Kate really put us at ease and we actually enjoyed having our photos taken, which is not the norm! It was a very cold & windy day but we hardly noticed as we were enjoying ourselves so much. Our proofs were ready to view not long after returning from our honeymoon, we could not believe that Darren had taken so many fantastic photos! We now face the difficult but enjoyable task of choosing our favourites for our album. Darren has captured our special day beautifully, we can't thank him enough. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend DCH Photography to any bride and groom to be.

Clive and I were married in August 2008.Once we had chosen Darren as our photographer it couldn't have been simpler. After just one meeting we were able to choose a combination of discs and photo story book which we felt was the right package for us. Darren also went away with a long list of people we wanted to include. On the day, Darren was a true professional, putting me at ease throughout the day. His timetable worked brilliantly and we used it as the basis for timing for the whole event and he included everyone. The photos are superb and captured the essence of the day. We now have a wonderful reminder of our big day (Maggie wrote that stuff) This is Clive and I will simply say If you are searching for a photographer for your special day, Darren is technically excellent, artistically gifted with an eagle eye for detail and the consummate professional he rounds that off with being a really nice bloke too.
Maggie and I will be using Darren for all our future weddings

We cannot recommend Darren and his wife Kate highly enough! The service we received from the moment we called Darren to view his portfolio right through to receiving our album and photos has been fantastic. Darren was very flexible about the type of photography we wanted, and open to our suggestions of shots on the day. He is as a lot more friendly and professional than the other photographers we had met, and unlike many of the bossy, rude and obtrusive photographers we've seen at other weddings Darren and Kate are a pleasure to have with you on your big day. Even our Vicar mentioned how lovely it was it have a photographer at the ceremony who didn't detract from the service itself, whilst still getting fantastic shots of us at the altar. We were married in November 2007 in Reigate with our reception at Stanhill Court Hotel. Darren captured all the elements of both the church and venue which we love, and also the happiness we felt on the day - we have an album which we will treasure forever. A huge thank you to Darren and Kate!

We discovered Darren through the internet and reading his reviews he sounded perfect for us. We duly called Darren who was so helpful, thorough and professional throughout our conversations and subsequent meeting with him. We got married at a venue Darren had not done before and as the wedding was in September were concerned about pictures should it rain. Darren immediately put our minds at ease as he ventured to the hotel to see where would be good to have photos taken in both sunny or weather conditions. Darren offerred an extensive range of styles and options to my husband and myself that felt both modern and contemporary but with the added twist of being fun so it suited all our tastes. On the day Darren couldn't of been better, he ensured that everything ran smoothly and all the group photos we had requested were taken and additional ones that we thought of on the day. His professionalism was above and beyond anything I had seen at any other wedding before and now, having seen the photos we are absolutely delighted with the results and that we had chosen Darren and would recommend him to everyone.

We are delighted with our end result, which is a fabulous Wedding Book story that brings the whole day back to life every time we open it. The series of events ran smoothly from the moment we first met Darren and Kate, to the rehearsal for picture options at our venue and church, to the wedding day...and it didn't finish there! There was as much attention to detail and professionalism before and during as there was after the big day. The key was that it was done with a friendly and relaxed manner that made it all the more easier to enjoy the special day with so much happening at once. First Class service all round, thanks again.

When the groom is a keen photographer himself, selecting the right person to capture the biggest day of his life would seen to be a daunting prospect. Within minutes of meeting Darren, however, we knew we were talking to the right man. Aside from an amazing portfolio wall-to-wall with award-winning and award-worthy images, it was Darren's personality and obvious passion for OUR wedding that set him apart. Attention to detail was superb, both in the planning and the execution of our wishes for the day. His personality shone through on the big day as he kept everyone smiling and laughing and checking that they were happy. The end result for us was image after image of priceless memories, captured to perfection. The only problem is choosing which ones to use! Thank you Darren for adding to our enjoyment of our big day, and providing us with wonderful photography that will ensure the memories will live on.

Wedding photos have got to be one of the most important elements of your big day and when it came to choosing our wedding photographer, we met 5 or 6 but as soon as we met Darren at his house, we were sold. He immediately put us at ease and made us feel extremely comfortable around him. His portfolio was excellent and his style of photography was exactly what we were looking for. We got married in May with a church wedding at St Barts in Horley followed by our reception at South Lodge Hotel, Lower Beeding. Darren's attention to detail really came to the fore when he himself visited the hotel and subsequently met us there again to talk us through the shots that we wanted him to take. We also had a DVD of the day and he worked extremely well with them, allowing both of them to do their jobs to the best of their abilities. One of the other major factors for us in choosing Darren was that he works with Graphi Studio in Italy. Whilst we were extremely happy with the proofs (c490) nothing quite prepared us for the finished album we chose (reportage style) it is truly amazing and every one of our friends and family that have seen it, comments that it is the best wedding album they have ever seen. We have no hesitation in recommending Darren to anybody that wants a professional, courteous and diligent photographer. Melissa & Mike

Having been to a number of weddings where the photographer was bossy and rude we were particularly anxious about this aspect of our wedding. As soon as we met Darren all of these worries disappeared, he is very professional and ensures that the best moments of your special day are captured without being obtrusive and offending people. In fact a lot of our guests commented on what a fatastic photographer Darren is. We have not been disappointed with the choice and quality of the photographs either, the only problem is choosing which to have in your album at they are all so good. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending DCH Photography, all aspects of the photography and organistation were fantastic.

We chose Darren Charles Holloway Photography primarily due to Darren's quality portfolio and his approachable manner. We were married at Ashdown Park at 5pm on Saturday 7th July and from the minute Darren arrived he made us feel at ease (no mean feat as neither of us like our photo being taken!) and along with his very helpful assitant managed to capture all aspects of our special day in a natural, fun and contemporary style. The results are a stunning set of images, which we are having great difficulty selecting our chosen number from.
We also chose DCH Photography due to the packages available. We have chosen one of his packages which will capture our chosen images in GraphiStudio's The Wedding Book, which is a truely lovely way for us and our guests to remember our day.
Darren - Many thanks for making our day so special and for capturing it in such a brilliant way.

If you want a professional, unobtrusive, friendly, relaxed and absolutely fantastic wedding photographer then look no further because you have found him. Darren took our wedding photos on the 20th July 2007 - the wettest July day in 50 years! If you looked at our wedding photos you wouldn't even know it had been raining. We cant tell you enough how brilliant Darren is, I first met Darren at Ashdown Park Hotel wedding fair and that was decision made. He invited us to his home to view some albums and DVDs and it was like popping round to see an old friend, everything about Darren is relaxed and informal. We both hate having our photos taken but we felt so at ease in Darrens company and our pictures our absolutely amazing, they are so natural and relaxed (even the formal group pictures). So many of the guests at the wedding commented on how professional and polite Darren was, which the serial wedding guests were quite amazed at as they had always had experiences of being bossed around by photographers at weddings - they were so thrilled to be spoken to as human beings. Our reception was at Ashdown Park and Darren knows the place like the back of his hand, some of the photos are pure genius. Proper little gems. The only problem you will find when have Darren as your photographer is trying to choose your final pictures from the massive selection of proofs, we have an astonishing 338 brilliant proofs to choose from and that is only the ones he is happy to let us see! We didnt even know he had taken some of the photos until we saw the proofs, I think he has had training as a spy :-) Darren - we cant thank you enough for capturing our special day so perfectly, it means the world to us that we can look back over such magical pictures and have met such a genuine person. Also just a thanks from our guests, they are absolutely thrilled that they can look at the photos on the internet and choose their prints (Im not sure who's more excited). Thanks again for everything, Kate and Conrad x

We married at Ashdown Park in April 2007 and chose Darren partly for the quality of his work and partly because he knows the Ashdown like the back of his hand! Darren is an exceptionally gifted photographer. His work is very fresh and natural. His photographs capture the personality of the subjects and the atmosphere of the occasion. Darren and Kate's relaxed and personable style on the day made working with them a pleasure. We wish them both continued success in the future.

We got married on 12th May 2007 and chose the photographer over a year in advance, to avoid disappointment. On meeting Darren, we found him to be very relaxed and keen to produce exactly what we wanted. We knew then and there that we were making the right decision! On the day, Darren and Kate (his wife, who organised the shots) were friendly and put our minds at ease. All our guests were extremely impressed with their enthusiasm and professionalism. The photos themselves are fabulous - we are so pleased. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Darren's photography!

We were married September 8 at Cisswood House Hotel, West Sussex. We currently live in the Cayman Islands and so our time in the UK to meet and choose a photographer was very limited. Because of this Darren and Kate agreed to meet us at their house on Christmas Eve, despite the fact that they had guests staying. Immediately on meeting them we knew that we had met our photographer and his portfolio just confirmed our decision. Even with a groom that hates having his photo taken Darren made us feel so much at ease that we now have too many good pictures to choose from. Darren and Kate's working relationship (Kate organises everyone leaving Darren to do what he does best) works very well leaving more time for us to relax and chat to our guests hardly noticing that photos were being taken. Thank you so much Darren and Kate, we would not hesitate to recomend you to friends.

We got married at Ashdown Park Hotel on 16 September 2006. We chose Darren because his portfolio was excellent and he came over very professional. We were suprised how quickly we received the proofs the day after we came back from our honeymoon. We feel that the pictures captured our day really well, as if a story was being told. We would definitely recommend Darren and Kate as they really made the taking of the photos run smoothly and were great with our family and friends. Once again a very big thank you to both.

Seriously, look no further...
My wife and I spent a lot of time looking through wedding photographer websites separately. When we came together that evening, top of both of our lists was DCH. We made an appointment to go and meet him. After getting on very well with him and seeing his portfolio of work, we were in no doubt he was the man for the job.
It's nice when your suppliers meet your expectations at your wedding, but it's no understatement to say that Darren and his wife hugely exceeded them.
Not only are the photos themselves very very high quality, there have been some wonderful moments captured and his inventiveness and experience have left all who have viewed our pictures ALL stating they are the best wedding photographs they have ever seen.
The only problem we have is that we now have to decide on a selection for our wedding album. It's a near impossible task as they are all simply exceptional.
Quality of pictures aside, you couldn't hope for a better supplier in terms of being available and ready to answer all questions and keeping you informed. We knew where we stood all along and not only were all our questions fully answered and quickly, Darren also thought of a lot of things we hadn't.
Top man, top pictures, couldn't be more pleased.

We got married on August the 12th 2006 at St Mary's church in Beddington followed by a reception at Stanhill Court Hotel in Charlwood. The service provided by Darren and Kate was absolutely superb from start to finish. Not only were they extremely helpful leading up to the big day with meetings at our chosen location to discuss possible photo's; but they were also a tremendous help on the day. The timing of the photo's was fantastic and helped the day to run smoothly - many of the shots of the groom and his ushers were taken before the ceremony which allowed for more time after the ceremony for additional family and group shots, and prevented guests from standing around for too long. Darren took some very creative photo's making full use of the scenery around us, as well as getting all of the traditional shots.
The weather was not particularly kind to us on the day but this didn't phase Darren, and if anything it allowed us to have many additional shots that we would perhaps not have thought of in different circumstances. Many of our guests have since commented on how professional and polite both Darren and Kate were on the day. The photo's are amazing, its been quite difficult to make our choices from such a superb variety. The portfolio that we get to keep provides us with a of story tale of the day and is something we will always treasure.
A very professional and polite service that was worth every penny, we would definitely recommend Darren Charles Services to others. Many Thanks to Darren & Kate, from Lisa & Luke x

We were married on the 15th July at St. Nicholas Church in Charlwood followed by a reception in Hookwood. The photographs taken by Darren were stunning and truly captured all aspects of the day. Family came from all over the world and it was a real challenge to get all the group photos done, but Kate was superb in organizing everyone! The photos are a combination of classic, formal and fun, which was exactly what we were looking for. All our guests were full of compliments for the photographs taken by Darren as they portray what was a great day for everyone, especially us.
We really appreciated that they took the time to meet us prior to the wedding to discuss what we wanted and look at the venue and the Church to get ideas prior to the big day. We are also really impressed with the post wedding assistance they have provided, as living abroad makes things a little more complicated for us. Christopher and I would like to thank them both very much for everything. Even whilst organising the wedding from abroad, Darren made sure that it was as easy as if we lived in the UK! We would certainly strongly recommend them to anyone.

We got married at Hartsfield Manor, Betchworth. We wanted an informal, relaxed wedding day with a twist of something different. Darren and Kate are a fantastic team, they listened to our needs and gave us the perfect set of photographs to capture the mood of the day. Although our wedding was at short notice, they took the time to prepare for the day, so that they understood both the location and our families which made their being there feel more personal and not at all intrusive. Wonderful photographs and outstanding personal service we couldn't have asked for more.

We got married at the beginning of June 2006 at St Marys Church in Hitcham and then had our reception at Taplow House Hotel. We decided on Darren and Kate on my sister's recommendation as they had perfectly captured her special day too. They were such wonderful people to have at the wedding - very organised and relaxed without being too pushy. We have just received our booklet and now have the difficult task of shortlisting the photos, which will certainly be very challenging as they were all exactly what we wanted!
We met with Darren and Kate before the wedding which really helped to put us at ease. We felt very comfortable that they had understood what we were after and were pleased that we could visit the locations with them.
We really couldn't have asked for a better photographer and would have no hesitation in recommending both Darren and Kate to anyone.

We got married on January 28th at Hever Castle in Kent, on one of the coldest, but thankfully sunniest days, of the winter but looking at our wedding photographs, thanks to Darren you would never believe how cold we both were. Darren kept us both calm and smiling all through our photo sessions and with the help of Kate made sure that each picture was taken as quickly and perfectly as possible.
We had a beautiful family wedding that included many children, but that never fazed Darren and he managed to catch all our guests in both traditional poses and other very natural, fun poses.
We would have not hesitation to recommend Darren as a photographer at any wedding, large or small. From our first meeting we knew he was the one for us as he took us through all the options available, never with any pressure just the understanding that this was a special day for us and we wanted it as relaxed as possible. Both Darren and Kate came to Hever Castle prior to the day and we discussed exactly what we wanted and he ensured that everything went off without a single hitch.
After the wedding the photographs are presented beautifully and the only problem we have is choosing the best ones to put in our album, there are so many...thanks to Darren

We were married last year at Scaynes Hill with our reception at the Bluebell Railway. Darren and Kate were fantastic taking time out to do a pre-wedding photo reccy at both the church and the Bluebell. Agreeing locations and shots for the actual day.
On the wedding day they were both excellent at controlling our guests and making sure all the photo’s were taken that we had wanted. Believe you me this is an invaluable skill on such an occasion. On a more personal note they are a really friendly couple and extremely patient and professional even when it takes you months to decide on your photo’s. The photo’s are the best memory of the day we could ask for and bring it all flooding back when we look at them. We have no hesitation in recommending them for your special day.

David and I married on the 19th November 2005 and everything was perfect, Darren and Kate made the whole experience truly one to remember. Darren and Kate were recommended to us by Ashdown Hotel and Country Club and from the moment we met them I knew that we had made the right choice, Darren and Kate had themselves married at Ashdown so I knew we were in good hands. I had seen the photos on Darrens Website so I knew that the photos were what we were looking for but when Darren sent our proof album through I was absoutley amazed at how well they captured the day. Everybody that has seen our photos have commented on how beautiful the photos are and I for one would not hesitate in recommending Darren and Kate to anyone and wish them all very best for the future.

John and I got married in October 2005 at Nutfield Priory, Redhill. It was a wonderful occassion perfectly captured forever by the fantastic wedding photographs taken by Darren Charles Holloway and Kate. We also have a delightful DVD of all the photographs taken on the day set to our choice of music. Right from our first meeting with Darren and Kate we felt certain that we had found the perfect photographer to capture our special day. They were extremely friendly and helpful and always very professional. The results are excellent and have been much admired. Nothing was too much trouble on the day and afterwards when selecting our photographs and album. We have no hesitation in recommending Darren Charles Holloway to you- he will enhance your special day for you and we promise you, you will not be disappointed!

A star performer in every sense of the word. Our wedding at Ashdown Park Hotel, Darren made our day easy to prepare, a lot of fun during the day (despite very bad weather!!) and the results are fantastic.
We got a great selection of informal photos as well as the more traditional ones and we fondly look back on the day that Darren managed to capture so well.
A massive thanks! Neil and Jojo Harvey.

Myself and Doug got married at Ifild Green on the 10th September 2005, and Darren and his assistant captured perfectly how wonderful our day really was.
Myself and my husband were really worried initially about having our photos taken on the day as neither of us are particulaly photgenic!, but Darren assured us that the picture would turn out exactly as we would like them to. He was completely open to our suggestions as we requested informal shots to be taken.
On the day Darren and his assistant were extremely polite and very helpful and we received many comments from our guests confirming what we already thought.
Our proofs arrived within 10 days and we were soo pleased with them, we thought that it was going to be easy picking the ones we wanted for our album, but it definately wasnt! we ended up requesting more!
We found Darren a wonderful man who was willing to put himself out to make our day very special. We would have no hesitations in recommending him and his fantastic work.

Darren and Kate really helped to make our day. They were actually the only photographers we interviewed which shows the confidence we felt in them right from the start. We met a couple of times before the wedding, and they scoped out the venue (Lewes Registry office at Southover Grange) the weekend before, so Darren could get some ideas about where best to photograph us.
On the day they were very professional, and friendly, and made every one feel comfortable. Everyone commented to us about how good they were. Kate had our list of which photos we specifically wanted, and organised everyone, and when not doing formal shots, Darren took candid shots on his own initiative, some of which made it into the final album.
The photos were first class. (There was a light drizzle falling during some of them, but somehow Darren managed to make it look like a bright summers day). Choosing the prints we wanted was one of the hardest jobs we have ever had to do.
Darren’s recommendations regarding presentation were really useful, and we are more than happy with the results. Having the prints on a DVD is a wonderful bonus. We have no qualms, at all, about recommending them to others.

My new husband and I could not have been more thrilled with the service and photos that Darren and his wife Kate provided for our wedding at St Swithun's Church East Grinstead and Newick Park Country Club.
The two of them really worked so hard to make us feel at ease, to make sure we were positioned just so and to bring originality and that special something to our photos.
I knew as soon as I saw Darren's portfolio that he was the man to capture the moments of our special day and I am so pleased that we went to him as I imagine that we could not have found a better team than Kate and Darren.
I thoroughly recommend them to anyone who is getting married and wants photos that are particularly special and a little different.

Darren & Kate were fantastic from our very first point of contact with them, right through to us receiving our final prints. They both came and met us at our wedding venue; Oakley Court Hotel in Berkshire, where we walked around together and discussed what we would like from our photos.
Both Darren & Kate were very professional, very down to earth and fun, making the actual taking of photographs enjoyable and making us and our guests feel very relaxed on the day.
All our photos were great, with very natural smiles in them all. Our proofs were waiting at home for us when we arrived back off our honeymoon, which was lovely as we couldnt wait to see them and they had been loaded onto the website so we could give our guests the password so they were also able to view them. Our final prints are finished and presented to a very high standard.

We looked long and hard to find the perfect wedding photographers, although from the moment we met Darren and his wife Kate we knew that they would be perfect! They were open to all of our ideas and nothing was too much trouble for them.
We live along way away from our chosen venue and they were accomodating in meeting with us to discuss all aspects of the day. On the wedding day they were fantastic. They are so professional and the photographs were a really enjoyable event. The finished drafts arrived on the day we got back from our honeymoon and were everything we hoped for and more! The quality was exceptional and we felt Darren had really captured the essence of our day. The photos were really very difficult to choose from, but having had the final copies back they are fantastic. I would reccommend Darren to anyone and already have!!
He is a truely talented photographer and was relaxed with all the guests, which was very important to us. So take a look at his work and I am sure that you will be as impressed as we were. We couldn't have found anyone else more suitable.
